1. Chi è Minru secondo Minru?
Minru is my musical alter ego, the more creative facet of my identity. I kind of like to think that Caroline is the apollonian part of me, which embodies reason, rationalism, and harmony whereas Minru is the dionysian part of me, so more emotional, irrational, and spontaneous.
Minru è il mio alter ego musicale, l'aspetto più creativo della mia identità. Mi piace pensare che Caroline sia la parte Apolloniana di me, che incarna la ragione, il razionalismo e l'armonia mentre Minru è la parte Dionisiana di me, quindi più emotiva, irrazionale e spontanea.

Atmospheric, tender, warm.

3. Listening to your new album “Liminality” it’s possible to hear intimacy and magic melodies. First of all: what does the title refer to? What are the ideas linked with the birth of songs?
3. Ascoltando il vostro nuovo album "Liminality" è possibile ascoltare l'intimità e le melodie magiche. Prima di tutto: a cosa si riferisce il titolo? Quali sono le idee legate alla nascita delle canzoni?
I found the title when I was reading a book about the psychoanalyst Carl Jung. In this book, the word ‘liminality’ was used to describe the instant ”where you know you cannot go back to who you were but don’t know yet what you are becoming”. It’s sort of an “in-between moment”. I thought the word related to the album in so many ways. Most literally, the process of making it itself, but also its inherent themes of the songs such as death, grief, and unsettledness.
Ho trovato il titolo quando stavo leggendo un libro sullo psicoanalista Carl Jung. In questo libro, la parola 'liminalità' è stata usata per descrivere l'istante "in cui sai che non puoi tornare a chi eri ma non sai ancora cosa stai diventando". È una specie di "momento intermedio". Ho pensato che la parola si riferisse all'album in tanti modi. Più letteralmente, il processo di renderlo se stesso, ma anche i suoi temi intrinseci delle canzoni come la morte, il dolore e l'inquietudine.
4. What are your next targets?

I would really like to play the album live with my band, perhaps tour a bit in Germany and other European countries. That would be a wonderful experience. I’m also working on new songs which I’m very excited about.
Mi piacerebbe davvero suonare l'album dal vivo con la mia band, magari in tour un po' in Germania e in altri paesi europei. Sarebbe un'esperienza meravigliosa. Sto anche lavorando su nuove canzoni di cui sono molto entusiasta.
